PIONEER ACADEMY
Tusculum College
This is a camp structured specifically for young players, who are learning the fundamentals of the game. The sessions are open to both boys and girls between ages 4 and 18. Players are grouped according to age and ability level.
Practices for four and five year olds are designed to introduce players to the ball and the basic ball handling techniques. Players of that age group will also work on coordination, and teamwork.
Practices for six through nine year olds will focus on teaching all the fundamental techniques of the game. Campers in that session will be introduced to some advance techniques. They will be given many opportunities throughout the week to use learned techniques in small group play. This session will incorporate teamwork and coordination training as well.
Ten through thirteen year olds will spend the week working on their skills. Players this age will have the opportunity to improve their technical game through repetition. We will promote both footed play and the importance of sound fundamentals. Dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and heading will all be part of this session’s curriculum. Coordination, footwork, and running technique emphasized for this age group as well.

Half Day Camp
Date: June 16 - 20 , 2013
Time: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM (First day) - 5:30 PM -8:30 PM (The following days)
Individual Cost: $95.00 per player ($85 – Early registration)
Team Cost (Minimum 6 players per team): $85 per player ($75 – Early registration

Full Day Camp

Individual Cost: $ 185 per player ($ 175 – Early registration)
Team Cost (Minimun 6 players or 8 players if U13): $ 160 per player ($ 150 – Early registration)

ELITE ACADEMY
This session is designed for the competitive player, age 10-18 years old boys and girls. The curriculum will feature small sided games and age appropriate group tactics. The junior elite camp is competitive and fun. The practices are structured so players can polish fundamental technical skills. This camp will help players become more comfortable on the ball and compete at a higher level in the future. Sessions address dribbling skills, passing exercises, shooting and finishing, dribbling moves, faking, combination play, crossing and heading etc. We will also cover tactical topics such as ball-oriented defending, counter attacking, defending numbers down, etc. Small sided and full games are played throughout and at the end of each day.
Elite Star Academy – Ages 10 – 18

Resident: $ 385 per player ($ 375 – Early Registration)
Commuter: $ 285 per player ($ 275 – Early Registration)
Time for Commuters: 3:30 PM – 8:30 PM (First day). 8:15 AM - 8:30 PM (The following days)
Team Cost: (Minimum 6 players or 8 players for U13 and U14)

Individual & Team Camp – Ages 8-19

*July 28 – Aug. 1 are the actual dates for the Elite Individual & Team Camp. Please be advised.
The Elite Academy targets the serious soccer players who aspire to play college soccer. Sessions are competitive and feature small sided games plus full matches in the evenings.
We will work with the teams individually during this camp. Just let us know what the needs are for your team and we will tailor the training sessions to attend to that need. Club or high school coaches are encouraged to attend this camp with their team and interact with Coach Vital or other staff coaches on practice planning, game preparation, formation and style of play, etc.
A College Recruiting Seminar will be conducted during camp by Coach Vital and members of the Tusculum College Admissions Staff. The seminar will focus on providing valuable information about the recruiting process. It will outline all steps necessary to becoming a student athlete. All sessions will be conducted at the Tusculum College’s state of the art soccer facilities.

** Due to NCAA regulations, individual discounts are not allowed for High School age campers.
